First I must say, this song was a really nice change of pace. As weird as it may sound from a musician, this song (or rather collab) really gave me a true creative freedom. It was really refreshing after grinding the same genre over and over.

Now, to the song itself - Clouds Over Red Castle.

As you may have noticed the original theme remixed here is Catastrophe in Bhava-agra ~ Wonderful Heaven. A very cheerful theme for a very cheerful and quirky, young and beautiful lass. I ended up choosing that theme quite randomly, I just had it laying in my projects. At the moment of starting work on it I was on a huge Enya and celtic music binge.

Because of it I got my hands on Roland D-50 synthesizer emulation, and I instantly fell in love with its richness and it's vivid yet melancholic undertone. I believe the sound of this synthesizer is just like Miss Hinanawi deep down in her heart.

When I started composing that melancholy under a vivid picture struck me instantly. As it often happens to me while making music I saw a vision in my mind (No, I'm not insane, I just have a very broad imagination that allows me to view a scene based on what I hear), yet this time it was much more clearer than usual.

What I saw was a red pagoda style building, with a wide terrace base. It was hidden in a thick dark forest, secluded by mountains. The sky was grey and milky, on it roaring thunderous clouds slowly moving, like soldiers on a defilade ready to unleash their fire at any moment - the rain. Tenshi was sitting on a railing at the edge of the pagoda in silence, with her head looking up calmly, watching this show of power slowly unfolding.

Dear listener, when hearing this song try to imagine that scene. I hope what you'll see and feel deep inside yourself will be Clouds Over Red Castle. In a dark yet melancholic atmosphere, blue haired lady sitting there with a clear mind. Just taking in the view.
